23rd ANNUAL PACIFIC ISLANDER FESTIVAL OF SAN DIEGO (PIFA)

RULES AND REGULATIONS

NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED PER SDMC § 56.54 All coolers subject to inspection. This is a Family event.

NO SMOKING PER SDMC § 43.1001 NO VAPOR   
NO DRONES allowed.

DOGS PROHIBITED PER SDMC § 63.20.12 Only service dogs will be allowed in the venue.
LARGE COOLERS ARE PROHIBITED. Food & Drink will be available for purchase from our many vendors without whose support this would not be a free event.


NO BIKES ALLOWED IN THE VENUE


Is there a fee for the festival?

No, there is no admittance fee to enter the Pacific Islander Festival.


Is handicapped parking available?

There is a limited number of handicapped spaces available on a first come basis. Our shuttle service drops our attendees off at the front entrance.


Is there a fee for parking?

There will be a fee for parking in the west side parking lots just west of Ski Beach near the Paradise Point Resort. The cost for parking in these lots will be $10.00 per vehicle. No in and out privileges will be allowed. Paradise Point will also offer parking for $20 per vehicle.


Is there a fee for the shuttle?

It will cost $1.00 PER SEAT for a round trip ride.

 

Shuttle locations:

PIFA brings to the public two shuttle locations. Directions to the parking lots and pickup points are as follows:

1-Sunrunner Parking Lot located just off of the 5 freeway exit Sea World Dr. First dirt parking lot on left upon exiting the freeway.

2-Hospitality Point on Quivera Blvd. From West Mission Bay Dr., turning left onto Quivera Rd. Quivera Rd., becomes Quivera Blvd., upon following bend in road. Parking lot is first dirt lot on left side.

Both lots will have signs with directions and lot names. Shuttle Service starts at 7:00am each day to 5:00pm


Are pop-up tents and umbrellas allowed?

No pop up tents and no umbrellas are allowed in the entertainment viewing area within the venue. Everything outside of Pifa’s venue is allowed.


What is our theme for this year, 2016?

“Voice of the Sea”

 

What types of booths will you have at the festival?

We are proud to welcome over 100 food, craft and information booth vendors. We also welcome the new vendors who will be participating in our festival this year and we appreciate the support of our PIFA Vendors who have participated in our festival on an annual basis.

PIFA Meetings
PIFA meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month at the National City Police Department. from 7pm - 9pm unless otherwise noted. 

Meeting dates 2017

September 20, 2017
9/20 Meeting at Ski Beach at 6pm.  Parking passes for members pickup.
All members are welcome to attend.
