Is there a fee for the festival?

No, there is no admittance fee to enter the Pacific Islander Festival.  We are asking for a canned good donation which you can drop off at bins at the entrance.

 

Is there a fee for parking?

There will be a fee for parking in the west side parking lots just west of Ski Beach near the Paradise Point Resort. The cost for parking in these lots will be $20.00 per vehicle. No in and out privileges will be allowed.  The lot open each day at 7:00am.

UBER and LYFT DROPOFF
There will be marked Uber and Lyft dropoff and pickup points on the west side of Ingraham (Princess resort) side of Ski Beach.  Absolutely no Shared Ride dropoffs and pickups on the Festival side off Ski Beach as we MUST keep that clear for our shuttle buses.

Disabled Parking
There only so many Disabled parking spaces and are based on a first come first serve basis. PIFA will add additional Disabled parking spaces in the paid parking area.


What time does the festival open?
The festival opens to the public at 7:30am both days.

Are pop-up tents and umbrellas allowed?
No pop up tents and umbrellas are allowed for the 2018 festival.


Are coolers and grills allowed?
No coolers or grills are allowed.  This is a FREE event so please support our vendors who enable us to keep it free.

 

Is there a fee for the shuttle?

Round trip cost is $2.00 per seat.  Passengers will be issued a ticket for use for the return trip.

 

Shuttle locations:

PIFA brings to the public two shuttle locations. Directions to the parking lots and pickup points are as follows

Parking location number one:  Sunrunner Parking Lot located just off of the 5 freeway exit Sea World Dr. First dirt parking lot on left upon exiting the freeway.
Parking location number two: Hospitality Point on Quivira Blvd. From West Mission Bay Dr., turning left onto Quivira Rd. Quivira Rd., becomes Quivira Blvd., upon following bend in road. Parking lot is first dirt lot on left side.  Both lots will have signs with directions and lot names.
Cost is $2 round trip per person.
Buses run from 7am to 5pm


What is our theme for this year, 2018?

We are pleased to announce our theme  for our 24th Annual Celebration is, “TRADITION.”

The 2018 PIFA T-shirts with our new logo will be sold at our Information Booth at the festival. The Information Booth will be located just north of the festival stage.


What types of booths will you have at the festival?

We are proud to welcome over 100 food, craft and information booth vendors. We also welcome the new vendors who will be participating in our festival this year and we appreciate the support of our PIFA Vendors who have participated in our festival on an annual basis.
Please be aware there is no sales after 4pm so please do your shopping during the day.
