Motu Nehenehe Polynesian Dancers
is a professional Polynesian dance group and
studio in existence for over 27 years. It
was established in 1990 under the direction
of Babe U’ilani Valero. Motu Nehenehe are
Tahitian words which means “Beautiful
Island”. It signifies all the beautiful
aspects of island life; the sights, the
songs, the dances, and especially the
people. Dances from the islands of Tahiti,
Hawaii, Samoa and New Zealand are performed.
Nehenehe performs all over San Diego County,
Orange County, Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
Some of the dancers have also performed
abroad in Hawaii, Tahiti, Bora Bora, Mo’orea,
Philippines and aboard a cruise ship.
