OUR MISSION

The primary mission and goal of the Pacific Islander Festival Association is to:

Promote charitable and educational projects for the benefit of everyone, but with emphasis on the Indigenous People of Melanesia, Micronesia and Polynesia.

Provide educational and cultural resources to everyone, but with emphasis on the Indigenous People of Melanesia, Micronesia and Polynesia.

Actively participate in the promotion and perpetuation of the traditional cultures, ancient historical data, languages, attitudes and values of the Indigenous People of Melanesia, Micronesia and Polynesia.

How do I get to PIFA?

PIFA has two complimentary parking lots with shuttles available

Sun Runner Parking Lot. Located just off the 5 freeway exit Sea World Dr. First dirt parking lot on left upon exiting the freeway.

Hospitality Point on Quivira Blvd. From West Mission Bay Dr., turning left onto Quivira Rd. Quivira Rd., becomes Quivira Blvd., upon following bend in road. Parking lot is on left side.

Is parking free?

Yes, parking is free, and attendees can either walk to the festival or take our shuttles.

Shuttle rides are $2 per person/roundtrip via Venmo to @PIFASanDiego and will have to show proof of transaction to ride.

No cash will be accepted. Shuttles start at 6:00 AM for performers, festival grounds are open at 7:30 AM.

What is not allowed in the festival grounds?

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests, please note the following items and activities are not allowed:

Coolers of any size
Outside food or drinks—please support our amazing vendors by purchasing on-site
Tents, umbrellas, or pop-up canopies
Weapons, alcohol, smoking, pets, and drones

All attendees will be subject to a security screening upon entry. We appreciate your cooperation in creating a safe and welcoming environment!

What time does the festival open?

The festival opens to the public at 7:30am both days.

Is the festival cashless?

All vendors will accept cashless payments however only some will accept cash. ATMs will be available on the festival grounds.

Additional Information

Please bring a non-perishable food item, as we will have food bins upon entering.

We are Family-Friendly and offer cultural workshops all day in our Cultural Village.

The 2025 PIFA T-shirts with our new logo will be sold at our Information Booth at the festival.

The Information Booth will be located just north of the festival stage.
