MEET MISS PIFA 2025/26

Håfa adai! My name is Jaeanaca Villagomez, and I am honored to serve as your Miss Pacific Islander of San Diego 2025–2026. I am proudly of Chamorro descent—my mother is from Sinajana, Guam, and my father is from Tumon, Guam.

Jaeanaca Villagomez - PIFA’s Miss Pacific Islander of San Diego 2025-2026

I am currently pursuing my bachelor's degree in Biology at San Diego State University. My long-term goal is to attend medical school and become a dermatologist. This dream began when I was twelve years old, after witnessing a close family member struggle with health issues due to the limited number of doctors on Guam. That experience inspired me to dedicate my life to medicine and one day return to serve communities in need.

One of my greatest passions is Chamorro cultural dancing, which I’ve been involved in for over ten years. Since my freshman year of high school, I’ve danced with Imåhen Taotao Tåno, a Chamorro dance group that shares the beauty of our culture through performance and service. We dance at events like PIFA and CCF, as well as for senior homes, military families, and other community gatherings. This year, I had the incredible opportunity to travel to France with my group, where we proudly shared the voice and spirit of our ancestors with audiences from around the world.

In addition to dancing, I enjoy volunteering at CCF—the Chamorro Cultural Festival—which allows me to further connect with our community and culture. I also serve at my church, where I help organize community events and prepare grocery packages for families who lack access to nutritious food. I’ve been volunteering with my church since my freshman year of high school, and it continues to bring me deep joy and purpose.

Above all, I want to thank my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and my Heavenly Father, God, for blessing me with this opportunity to represent the Chamorro community as Miss PIFA. Thank you to PIFA for entrusting me with this honor, and to my family for being my biggest supporters every step of the way. Si Yu'us ma'åse'! Biba CHamoru!
