Meet Miss PIFA 2024/25

Nautica Rosario-Trollinger - PIFA’s Miss Pacific Islander of San Diego 2024-2025

Nautica Nalyssa Rosario-Trollinger is twenty-three (23) years old and is of Chamorro and Samoan descent.  She is the daughter of Lisa Rosario Mclaughlin and Dennis Eugene Trollinger.  She is a recent graduate of San Diego Mesa College’s Medical Assisting program.  She is continuing her educational career to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and will soon be attending Southwestern College.


Nautica has represented the Polynesian culture, as an active member of Heali’i's Polynesian Revue.  She has participated in several prestigious events and community service, including special performances with Kalani Pe’a and Amy Hanali’I’s Album debut, the Hokulea Welcome Ceremony, the Ronald McDonald House Charity, and much more.  

Nautica is looking forward to advancing her leadership skills as an ambassador for PIFA through the Miss Pacific Islander of San Diego program.  She is also an ambassador for God and will establish a platform for young adults to strengthen their Faith in God through connection and bible study.  Her objective is to help spread the word of God and share how to be a disciple of Jesus.

BUILDING A SPACE FOR pacific islander woman

MISSION

To provide young Pacific Islander women of Melanesian, Micronesian and Polynesian ancestry a forum to build confidence, develop leadership and communication skills, foster goals, and teach discipline.

VISION

For participants to embrace their individual beauty, experience positive and memorable moments and to empower them to achieve their personal best, become a positive role model and give back to the community.
